El Adelanto
Sololá, Guatemala

The rural community of El Adelanto in the department of Sololá is one of 10 sites selected by Mayan Hands to work with indigenous women's groups. The women receive work assignments and pay for their artisan products. They also get automatic inclusion in Oxlajuj B'atz', an educational project sponsored jointly by Mayan Hands and Maya Traditions.
